US Open 2008 Prize Money

Prize money to be awarded in the US Open 2008 Championship events is $18,196,000. Prize money earmarked for Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Qualifying Games is given as under.

Singles, both men and women, have 128 draws in the US Open. The Prize Money to be awarded is $1,400,000 to winners, $700,000 to Runners-Up, $300,000 to Semifinalists, $150,000 to Quarterfinalists, $75,000 at Round of 16, $43,000, $43,000 at Third Round,
$27,500 at Second Round, and $17,500 at First Round. The total amount to be awarded in Singles is $6,588,000.

Prize Money for Doubles
For Doubles, per team, men and women, 64 draws will be played. Prize money awarded is $400,000 for winners, $200,000 for runners-up, $100,000 for semifinalists, $50,000 for quarterfinalists, $25,000 at Round of 16, $15,000 at Second Round, $10,000 at First Round. The total amount to be awarded in Doubles is $1,760,999.

Prize Money for Mixed Doubles
For Mixed Doubles per team, there will be 32 draws. Prize money to be awarded to the winners is $150,000, Runners-Up $70,000, Quarterfinalists $15,000, Second Round $10,000, and First Round $10,000. The total amount won in Mixed Doubles is $500,000.

Prize Money for Qualifying Games
For Men's and Women's qualifying games, there will be 128 draws. Third round losers will get $8,000. Second Round losers will get $5,625. First Round losers will get $3,000. The total amount to be awarded is $500,000.
